Pre-operative magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) was utilized to define microdialysis catheter placement in radiographically diverse regions. A In patients with contrast-enhancing tumors, microdialysis catheters were placed in enhancing and non-enhancing tumor, as well as brain adjacent to tumor.
