A Micrographs showing immunohistochemical staining of tissue sections spanning all cortical layers of the grey matter of the superior occipital gyrus from human control (samples from six patients) and Alzheimer’s disease cases (samples from seven patients) for the indicated receptors. B Bar plots show quantification of the immunofluorescent signal within the endothelial vascular marker ULEX. Four areas were imaged and used for quantification from five control cases and seven AD samples per receptor. Statistical analysis was performed using Student’s unpaired t test.
