1-40 immunohistochemistry in brain sections using a mouse monoclonal anti-Aβ antibody 6E10. The wild-type and Abcg2-KO mice were injected with 100 μg Cy5.5-labeled human Aβ1-40 peptides and brain tissues were collected 8 h post-injection. Brain sections were incubated with either the secondary antibody alone (panels A &B) or 6E10 followed with the Alexa 568 (red)-conjugated secondary antibody (panels C &D) and were co-stained with UEA-I (green) to visualize cerebral vessels (panels E &F). Images (20 × magnifications) are representative of results obtained from 3 animals in each group.
