Association between pulsatile ICP and measures of pathological mitochondria in astrocytic endfoot processes in iNPH patients. a There was a significant positive correlation between mean ICP wave amplitude (MWAICP) and area of pathological mitochondria in astrocytic endfoot processes (R = 0.43, P = 0.034). b There also was a significant positive correlation between MWAICP and fraction of pathological mitochondria in astrocytic endfoot processes (R = 0.52, P = 0.009). In comparison, no significant correlation was found between the static ICP (mean ICP) and either of the area of pathological mitochondria in astrocytic endfoot processes (R = 0.35, P = 0.086) or the fraction of pathological mitochondria in astrocytic endfoot processes (R = 0.37, P = 0.08)
