Levels of sAPPα in the brain following ADAM10 modulation in a mouse model of AD. PSAPP mice (35 weeks of age) were treated in an acute 5-day treatment paradigm with ADAM10 inhibitor GI254023X (200 mg/kg) or vehicle (DMSO) which were administered via intraperitoneal injection. One hour after the final treatment, the brains were collected and sAPPα in the whole brain homogenate was probed using an sAPPα ELISA. Values represent mean ± SEM (n = 8–9) and are expressed as the amount of sAPPα per mg total protein. Statistical significance determined by an unpaired t test
