Representative phase contrast pictures of cells plated directly after choroid plexus dissection and cell disaggregation and cultured in complete growth medium for 8 days. The pmCPECs exhibit a predominant polygonal morphology with rare unprocessed tissue remnants (asterisk) visible in a and occasional dome like cell aggregates (asterisk) visible in b.
