  1. Clinical symptom severity was rated using a 15-point NPH scale comprised of three five-point subscales describing deficits in gait, cognition, and bladder control. Numbers in each cell indicate how many subjects in the cohort were given a specific subscale score ranging from 5 (normal) to 1 (profoundly impaired). Numbers in parentheses represent the percentage of the cohort with a given NPH subscale score.
